Best of Florence & Tuscany

Enjoy a private transfer to the hotel Delle Nazioni (or similar in Florence) and stay overnight. 

In the morning, you'll make your way to a central meeting point where you'll meet your local guide for a 'Best of Florence' small group walking tour. On this tour you'll discover the main sights of Florence, including the Ponte Vecchio bridge, famous for its exclusive jewellery stores, and the outside of Palazzo Vecchio and the famous Cathedral.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy this beautiful city. We recommend visiting the world-famous Uffizi Gallery, where you can find artworks such as the "Venus" and the "Allegory of Spring" by Florentine artist Sandro Botticelli. Pre-book your tickets with this tour to guarantee your entry.

Enjoy a free day to spend at your leisure in Florence, with many sightseeing opportunities available, great places to indulge in locally crafted cuisine and stunning streets to walk. We highly recommend exploring inside the Duomo. 

Alternatively, enjoy an optional excursion to the Accademia Gallery where you can find an array of historical artworks and statues that are quintessential to the legacy of Tuscany. The Accademia Gallery houses many world famous masterpieces and is the home of Michelangelo's world famous sculpture David.

After breakfast, you have a full day ahead of you visiting Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Chianti. In the morning you will meet your English-speaking guide at the Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal, by the SMN train station. From here you will set off in a group to explore the historic city of Siena and then on to Monteriggioni, a walled town set in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside.

Finally, you will visit Chianti for an unforgettable wine tasting trip in the quiet and serene vineyards with views of the rolling hills.

Today is a full day excursion taking you to the iconic sites of Pisa and the delights of Lucca. After breakfast, you will meet your English-speaking guide at the Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal, by the SMN train station. During the trip you will be spoiled by the sights of historic cathedrals, rich artworks and leaning tower of Pisa too.  

Enjoy this rich culture trip with plenty to absorb and experience with a Buccellato cake tasting session in Lucca, hosted by locals.

Make your sixth day entirely your own In Florence to tick off everything you wish to experience in this charming city.  

Alternatively, head to an optional excursion to Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre, meaning 'Five Lands', is a collection of colourful villages set on the picturesque Italian coast The villages are only accessible by sea or train. Enjoy a refreshing trip with some gelato along the Mediterranean sea that provides the perfect place to unwind and take in this truly stunning spot.

For your final day, you will have the opportunity to ensure you have thoroughly explored all of Florence. Some hidden gems we recommend for your last day include the Santa Maria Novella pharmacy, renowned as the world’s oldest pharmacy, featuring stunning interior designs, unique products for sale, and beautiful gardens.

Another spot to explore is the Mercato Di Sant’Ambrogio, a large food market offering some of the best produce in all of Tuscany. And finally, the quiet gardens of Villa Bardini are perfect to unwind in with a picnic or a glass of local wine.

Your tour of Tuscany has come to an end. You will be privately transferred from your hotel back to the airport to head home.
